The Volunteer Center: Giving Back Service

The Volunteer Center at United Way of Frederick County is a full-scale volunteer deployment program accouting for tens of thousands of volunteer hours annually.  Each volunteer project is designed to support ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Contrained, Employed) households or improve the Frederick County community.  Projects range from skilled volunteers in the VITA (Volunteers in Tax Assistance) program, to Stuff the Bus school supply drive, to Day of Action, as well as Summer Serve and a wide variety of business volunteer matching partnerships.
