The Strategy: The Convergence

United Way of Frederick County's strategic plan represents our focus on the convergence of health, education and financial stability, and is a central part the strategic plan for United Way of Frederick County over the next three to five years.  THE CONVERGENCE focuses volunteer, advocacy and financial resources on projects and programs that provide health, education and financial stability support simultaneously.

United Way of Frederick County Strategic Plan

United Way of Frederick County seeks to identify and support programs to achieve intersecting outcomes in the three focus areas of health, education and financial stability.  In 2017, United Ways in Maryland released the ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained, Employed) Report, which identifies that over one in every three households can no longer afford to live in Frederick County.  United Way of Frederick County investments and programs are aligned to support these households.  The Community Impact Strategy Map serves as a guide to the goals and outcomes we will be working towards over the next three to five years.
