MLK Day of Service - Monday, January 15, 2018

Got MLK Day off? Make it a day on instead.

The great civil rights leader once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?" MLK Day is a chance to kick off the New Year in a positive way by building unity through community service, and inspiring others to do the same.

Looking for an MLK Day service opportunity?

United Way of Frederick County has teamed up with United Way of Washington County to promote volunteer opportunities in Northern Maryland. GetConnected is our shared volunteer database, where local opportunities are posted and registered volunteers are updated. To learn more about GetConnected, visit our Volunteer Center. To register as a volunteer or find local service opportunities, visit GetConnected. We hope that you will find one that best suits you and join hundreds of local residents in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.
