Computer Training Day one

Almost every job these days requires some level of computer knowledge. Goodwill Monocacy Valley introductory courses are for people who have no computer experience or who need a little extra training.

Goodwill Computer Class

Part One-

Day one of Steps to Success will enroll and participate in orientation. In addition, jobseekers will meet with a career a specialist and search for job leads within the Frederick County community.

Learn the basic of

  • how to operate a computer,
    • including typing (keyboarding), internet, and email.
  • Take classes in Microsoft Word and Excel,
    • To learn to create simple spreadsheets and documents like a resume. 
  • Online Job Searches 
  • Additional training for students looking for training in other Microsoft Products.

Students who pass these courses will recieve Continuing Education Credits from Frederick Community College.
