DAY OF ACTION 2020: COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to COVID-19, our annual Day of Action will look much different this year. With the safety and best interests of our volunteers and nonprofit partners in mind, we will not be hosting in-person volunteer projects as we have in past years. Instead we are coordinating a socially-distanced drop-off of urgently needed items
to benefit several local nonprofits that are providing critical services for those most affected by COVID-19.
When: Friday, October 2 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Where: Frederick Keys - Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium
Secondary Parking Lot (rear/lower lot off of New Design Road and behind the right field wall)
If you or your company would like to participate in collecting urgently needed items, please view the list of items needed by each participating nonprofit:

About Day of Action
Day of Action is an annual volunteer event that brings the Frederick County community together to address the issues that matter the most. For community members who want to lend their time and talents to local nonprofits, they may not know where and how to help. United Way of Frederick County coordinates with local employers, individuals, and nonprofits to most effectively support the community.
For employers who notified their employees about Day of Action, we would like to track that your organization supported our community. Please email Shana Knight at email@example.com to let us know you participated.
Day of Action is Frederick County's largest volunteer day and continues to grow each year. By sponsoring Day of Action 2020, you show that your company supports the community by encouraging and supporting volunteerism. As a sponsor, your company will have the opportunity to receive significant recognition in advertising and outreach materials before, during, and after the event.
