Each year, there are over $6 million in unclaimed income tax credits in Frederick County. Last year, through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs, we helped bring back more than $1 million to hard working people in our community (thanks to our VITA volunteers), which in turn, benefited Frederick County as a whole!
Next year, we hope to bring back even more of those unclaimed income tax credits by recruiting talented, passionate, caring volunteers. We are currently seeking:
