Latosha Adams is the Manager of Marketing at United Way of Frederick County (UWFC). She develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns that create greater awareness and understanding of UWFC’s mission, foster volunteer and donor engagement, and enhance the organization’s reputation as a respected community leader and advocate for every person in Frederick County. She manages UWFC’s digital marketing and social media; external communications and media relations; and the Unity Campaign and direct response fundraising efforts, including mail and email campaigns.
Latosha Adams is a creative digital marketing manager with nine years’ experience in content strategy in the nonprofit sector. Her experience and talent in social media marketing, storytelling, photography, graphic design, video editing, virtual livestreams, and blogging.
Most recently, Latosha served as the Online Communications Manager for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund where she shared the impact of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. and helped give a voice to our nation’s healing and grief. She increased the organization’s social media presence by 800% and helped revamp their digital content efforts.
Previously, she worked for four nonprofits that empowered children living with disabilities, supported gender equity, immigrant rights, and workers’ protections.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
Latosha moved from Silver Spring to Frederick in June 2020. She lives with her husband, their rescue cat, and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
