October 22nd, 2007
FREDERICK, MARYLAND-United Way of Frederick County (UWFC) recently recruited its campaign team for the 2007 campaign. Under the leadership of Campaign Chair Jayne B. Bongard, vice president & business banking relationship manager with M&T Bank, UWFC's fundraising committee anticipates a successful campaign season.
"It is with great pleasure that I serve as the 2007 campaign chair for United Way of Frederick County because I know United Way helps all of us, directly or indirectly. When you invest in United Way, you are investing in the people who matter most to you... your friends, neighbors, coworkers and your family," Ms. Bongard remarked.
The campaign cabinet, which is recruited each year by the campaign chair, includes individuals of various professions who live and/or work in Frederick County.
A local, volunteer-managed organization, United Way of Frederick County invests in community impact by supporting programs that assist children and families, provide emergency services, offer health education and serve those with disabilities through its 23 partner agencies.
