M&T Bank Serves as Presenting Sponsor for United Way of Frederick County Campaign Kick-Off

FREDERICK, MARYLAND-M&T Bank signed on as Presenting Sponsor for the United Way of Frederick County (UWFC) Campaign Kick-Off event, which was held September 18.
Approximately 100 guests attended the breakfast event to hear from Jayne Bongard, 2007 campaign chair, about the importance of supporting this year's United Way campaign. She announced a goal of raising $1.8 million. Additionally, guests viewed the organization's 2007 campaign video.
A local, volunteer-managed organization, United Way of Frederick County invests in community impact by supporting programs that assist children and families, provide emergency services, offer health education and serve those with disabilities through its 22 partner agencies.
