Randall Family, LLC - The Frederick News-Post Underwrites Cost of United Way Campaign Video.
August 29th, 2007
FREDERICK, MARYLAND--United Way of Frederick County recently received funding from Randall Family, LLC, doing business as The Frederick News-Post, to underwrite the production cost of its 2007 local campaign video.
The video, titled "What If...", is scheduled to premiere at UWFC's 2007 Campaign Kick-Off in September and will then be shown at employee meetings at prospective and participating local companies. The purpose of the video is to educate employees about United Way's mission, increase awareness of United Way of Frederick County and its partner agencies, and help secure employee donations through payroll deduction. According to Bill Kantz, UWFC president and CEO, approximately 57 percent of annual campaign funds come from employee workplace campaigns.
"We are thrilled to be able to produce another local video that educates the Frederick community about the positive impact United Way of Frederick County is having," said Jayne Bongard, UWFC campaign chairperson. "The campaign video presents a compelling case for supporting this campaign. The generous support in underwriting the production costs of the video provides a very strong opportunity for our organization to illustrate that every United Way contributor impacts life for the better."
A local, volunteer-managed organization, United Way of Frederick County invests in community impact by supporting programs that assist children and families, provide emergency services, offer health education and serve those with disabilities through its 23 partner agencies. For information, call UWFC at 301-663-4231.
