United Way of Frederick County Elects Eight New Board Members
August 27th, 2007
FREDERICK, MARYLAND-United Way of Frederick County's Board of Directors recently elected the following new members to serve two-year terms:
Russell J. Beaton, curriculum specialist for the Visual and Performing Arts department of Frederick County Public Schools.
Audrey T. Covington, director of internet services for Mirame Interactive.
Michael D. Cumberland, insurance broker with Keller Stonebraker Insurance, Inc.
Lawrence A. Dorsey, Jr., retired attorney who served as Frederick County State's Attorney.
Jeffrey K. Fraley, business banking officer with Chevy Chase Bank.
Griffith L. Garwood, retired director of the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs with the Federal Reserve Board.
Leslie Ivy Kinkead, residential and commercial real estate agent with Real Estate Teams, LLC.
Laura N. Venezia, Esq., attorney with Conklyn & Associates.
A local, volunteer-managed organization, United Way of Frederick County invests in community impact by supporting programs that assist children and families, provide emergency services, offer health education and serve those with disabilities through its 23 partner agencies.
