United Way of Frederick County to Host Sixth Annual Golf Classic

FREDERICK, MARYLAND---The Sixth Annual United Way of Frederick County Golf Classic will be held on Friday, September 14 at Maryland National Golf Club in Middletown. The tournament, which raises funds for United Way's 23 local partner agencies, has a 12 noon shotgun start time.
Foursomes may register for a $600 fee. The registration fee includes a round of golf, cart with GPS, range balls, cold beverages throughout the day, a boxed lunch and BBQ chicken dinner buffet. Several contests will take place during the tournament, including winner's choice of a 2007 Buick or Pontiac for a hole in one on the designated hole. Vehicle is courtesy of Ideal Automotive Group.
In addition to golfers, UWFC is seeking sponsors for the tournament, with opportunities beginning at $250. To register a team or to sponsor a hole or contest, please contact the United Way of Frederick County at 301-663-4231.
Those unable to participate in the golf tournament may still support the event. Contributions in any amount may be made payable to United Way of Frederick County and mailed to UWFC, P.O. Box 307, Frederick MD 21705. Indicate "golf classic" in the check memo line.
