United We Dine Event to Benefit United Way of Frederick County
March 5th, 2007
FREDERICK, MARYLAND-United Way of Frederick County, KEY 103 and 106.9 The Eagle are partnering to sponsor United We Dine on Thursday, March 22. On this day, participating Frederick County restaurants will donate 10 percent of their sales to the current United Way of Frederick County campaign.
United We Dine was established as a way for local restaurants and the community to support UWFC and its 22 partner agencies. The following restaurants have committed to participating in the March 22 event; however, several other restaurants will be added before the event. UWFC encourages the public to visit www.unitedwayfrederick.org before selecting a restaurant, as the listing is being updated daily.
This year's participating restaurants (as of March 5):
Barley and Hops Grill & Microbrewery
Ben & Jerry's
Cacique Restaurant
Jug Bridge
Mexicali Cantina
The Big Easy
The Red Horse Steak House
A local, volunteer-managed organization, United Way of Frederick County invests in community impact by supporting programs that assist children and families, provide emergency services, offer health education and serve those with disabilities through its 22 partner agencies.
