Communities across the country are served by over 1,400 independent and autonomous local United Ways. If you commute, you can take care of your own hometown through your company's employee campaign. Simply designate your gift to your hometown United Way. For example, if you live in Frederick County but commute elsewhere, you can write in "United Way of Frederick County, Maryland" on your pledge form.
